Why does my appliance display an error code?
Modern household appliances like smart washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators, and dryers are designed with internal digital sensors linked to a central control board. When a component fails—such as a drain pump taking too long to evacuate water or a heating element failing to reach the target temperature—the machine safely pauses the cycle and flashes an alphanumeric error code. This code prevents mechanical damage and serves as a diagnostic roadmap for repairs.
